About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cutting Tool Technician to regrind, recondition, and manufacture cutting tools to precise specifications. In this role, you will ensure tools meet quality standards and contribute to the efficiency of our operations. Your expertise in blueprint reading and machine setup will be essential to your success. Responsibilities Execute grinding operations according to work instructions to produce high-quality cutting tools. Conduct thorough inspections of tools using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Set up and adjust grinding machines to optimize performance and accuracy. Maintain accurate records of work performed and tooling inventory. Collaborate with the shop supervisor to address any issues or concerns. Contribute to a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Support the company culture by promoting teamwork and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in basic math skills. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with tool inspection techniques. Preferred Skills Prior experience in CNC tool grinding. Familiarity with various cutting tool materials and geometries. Ability to train others on grinding procedures.
