Laser Etch Operator

Our Greenwood, IN facility is seeking a dedicated Laser Etch/Engrave Operator for our 3rd shift team. Your primary focus will be the configuration and operation of laser engraving equipment to process metal components. Core Responsibilities Develop precise and optimized programs for laser engraving tasks. Ensure all digital files utilized for laser engraving machinery are properly organized and maintained. Collaborate with the Engineering team to resolve any uncertainties by securing the most reliable data. Configure laser engraving hardware based on specific technical prints and operational guidelines to ensure high-quality part production. Utilize precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and squares to verify that parts meet quality standards. Required Qualifications Completion of a High School diploma or a recognized equivalent. At least two years of relevant professional experience or specialized training. Capability to execute tasks based on directions provided through diagrams, verbal communication, or written documentation. Strong mathematical proficiency to accurately handle decimals, fractions, whole numbers, and various units of measurement. Physical capacity to lift and move objects weighing as much as 50 pounds.
