Position Summary As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Blackbird Health, you'll deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults. You'll build meaningful connections with patients and families, educating them about care options and providing ongoing support. You'll ensure patients make progress toward their care goals and maintain their safety. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, you'll impact the lives of young patients and their families. How you'll make an impact Provide comprehensive psychiatric care: Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses; develop personalized treatment plans and medication management. Build meaningful therapeutic relationships: Spend time with patients and families to understand experiences, educate them, and provide ongoing support. Drive patient progress & safety: Monitor progress, adjust plans, and intervene proactively to keep patients safe. Collaborate for integrated care: Work closely with therapists and other professionals to create integrated plans and participate in weekly team meetings. Educate & empower families: Provide consultation and education to help families understand diagnoses and treatment options. Ensure clinical excellence & compliance: Oversee diagnostic testing, maintain HIPAA‐compliant records, and perform other clinical activities as assigned. The basics you'll need Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week during our peak "after school hours" (after 4 pm ET during the week or any time on weekends). Fully remote position. Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program, PMHNP‐BC certification, and at least one year of independent psychiatric experience under licensure.
