Entry level Healthcare Position/ Medical Assistant

Specialists in Pain Care is looking for an energetic Medical Assistants for our east-end Pain Management office. We are looking for a positive, professional, customer service oriented individual to join our team. This is a fast-paced position and requires you to be able to multitask efficiently. Knowledge of Google Drive, Sheets, Docs, Chat, etc. is a MUST for this position. Our practice is innovative and relies heavily on technology. The hours are 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm every other Friday with every other Friday off! Summary of Job Duties: · Room patients and take medical histories & vital signs; collect all pertinent information for patient visit · Assist Providers as needed · Process prescriptions . Document patient vital signs · EHR documentation · Read Urine Drug Screen results · Monitor communication from patients · Assist in other areas of the office as required · Support the mission, vision and core values of the practice. The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service skills and a passion for building and developing a great team. Required Skills: · Education: High School Diploma/G.E.D, college degree preferred · Ability to build positive relationships with a high level of interpersonal skill · Excellent talent to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner · Strong written and verbal communication skills .
