About our client We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our research team in Miami. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs). You will contribute to enhancing our AI capabilities, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that drive operational efficiencies. DeliverablesDesign and implement advanced machine learning models to meet specific business needs and project goalsManage the entire AI system development lifecycle, including data collection, model development, testing, deployment, and maintenanceCollaborate with data engineers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to preprocess data, extract features, and develop scalable algorithmsIntegrate AI solutions within the company’s technology ecosystem, leveraging cloud-based services such as those provided by Azure when appropriateConduct ongoing testing and optimization of models to improve performance and impact, using a variety of metrics and stakeholder feedbackDocument technical solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within cross-functional teamsAbout youProficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch and programming languages such as Python and C++Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Azure, including services related to AI and machine learningStrong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture principlesPractical experience deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environmentsAbility to work effectively in cross-functional teams and align technical solutions with business objectivesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, with specialized coursework or projects in machine learning and AINice to haveKnowledge of AI system design concepts and familiarity with data engineeringExperience in identifying high-value AI use cases and contributing to strategic AI initiativesExpertise in working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and deployment in production environmentsSkills in ongoing model testing and optimization to improve business impactPerks & BenefitsGenerous equity packageBenefits packageUnlimited PTONote: Only candidates who meet the specified criteria and qualifications will be contacted for further consideration.
