Experienced Cabling Technician

JOB LOCATION BROWARD Cabling Technician * Responsible for installing, relocating, troubleshooting Cat5/Cat6 cabling on the customer’s premise. * You will be responsible of going to customer sites and install / repair cabling. You will require to have good customer service skills in order to deal directly with some of our clients. On some service tickets, you will perform the designated work by yourself. Most of the work we do: Run CAT Cable Terminate CAT Cable on Keytsone jacks & Patch Panels Test, Tone, Label Repair bad wires Finish Cables inside walls Install PVC Conduit for Cameras Install Cameras Qualifications: Must be able to lift 40 lbs and climb ladders. Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to pass a thorough background and drug screenings. Flexible work schedule with the ability to work weekends. Punctual, regular and consistent attendance record. Fluent in English. Preferred / Plus Skills: Experience with access control systems (door devices, readers, panels) is a plus Ability to bend and install EMT conduit is a strong plus Experience with cameras, APs, or other low-voltage systems is a bonus * Must feel comfortable interacting with customers and have excellent communication skills. *Pay increase based on performance.
