Role: Electrical EngineerLocation: Cincinnati, OHDuration: FulltimeJob Description:12+ Years of experience in Electrical Engineer for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) designs, builds, and maintenance of automated systems to validate electrical components, circuit boards, and finished products. They bridge product design and manufacturing by creating high-speed testing setups, developing test software, and optimizing test processes to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency, using National Instrument Hardware & LabVIEW Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy: Define ATE test strategies, lead test engineering teams, manage project deliverables, and coordinate with internal/external groups.Hardware/Software Development: Design/develop test hardware (fixtures, load boards, PCBs) and software (test programs, drivers) for new products, using tools like LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++. ·Test & Optimization: Create test plans, develop algorithms (RF, analog, digital), debug failures, optimize test time, and improve yield for cost-effective, high-quality production.Collaboration: Work closely with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to understand requirements and ensure smooth product release. ·Troubleshooting: Analyze test failures, resolve equipment issues, and support production for high uptime Primary SkillsExperience: Proven leadership, project management, and 10+ years in ATE design.Understanding of SW environment (Labview or C# or Python)Technical Skills: Strong EE fundamentals (analog, digital), circuit design, C/Phyton/LabVIEW, COTS instrumentation (DAQs, DMMs, Scopes), and understanding of test methodologies. Working experience with National Instruments hardware & SW ToolsSoft Skills: Self-directed, proactive, excellent communication, problem-solving, and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 to $85,500 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
