Details Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts 20-week contract Open Heart/Cardiovascular OR unit setting Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) BSN required Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience Epic EMR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required English proficiency (speak, read, write) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Develops and manages individualized patient care plans using a collaborative, evidence-based approach with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team Performs ongoing assessment and documentation of patient status, progress toward goals, and plan of care modifications throughout each shift Demonstrates technical proficiency with clinical equipment and performs bedside lab testing per provider orders Coordinates patient care across the interdisciplinary team from admission through discharge Provides patient and family education tailored to age, culture, developmental stage, and readiness to learn Candidates who have been on continuous assignment with this health system for one year or more are required to take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system RTO is not to exceed 7 days per contract period American Traveler Job ID P-676932.
