Job Announcement Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing Primary Function:The Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing enhances value and impacts the productivity of an organization. Expertise, philosophies, and negotiation skills, contribute to the corporate procurement strategy. This role evaluates and selects suppliers using a rigorous process and manages the goods and services across portfolio. Day-to-day operations and cross-functional collaboration are the focus of the position with the goal of improving operational efficiency in a complex media landscape.The Senior Manager works closely with finance, and auditors to develop, implement, and enforce corporate policies; oversee vendor and contract management and proactively identify and resolve operational risks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The following tasks are considered essential functions of this position. Enforces MBN’s procurement policy. Ensures business activities are consistent with local laws, requirements, and regulations. Ensures all locally required licenses, permits and approvals are secured and maintained. Conducts management analysis to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting organizational requirements. Master procurement software. Promptly alerts MBN management when there are any compliance issues that could adversely impact the organization. Identifying, evaluating, and nurturing supplier relationships often involving negotiations. Build deep supplier relationships Purchasing process via information sharing Spend analysis Selection strategies for different supply chains Contracting and legislation expertise Expertise in solving global sourcing challenges Other Duties:Perform additional job-related duties and take on new responsibilities as needed based on organizational requirements and circumstances.Qualifications and Requirements:Candidates are required to have: Four-year degree or commensurate experience and training required; advanced degree preferred. At least ten years of experience in administration and management. Excellent English communication skills required; strong Arabic language capabilities strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in managing in a multi-cultural environment. Sound computer skills and ability to thrive in automated environment. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
