Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Elon, NC

Registered Nurses with Med-Surg and MS experience are sought for a travel position in Elon, NC, on a 29-bed unit that offers comprehensive care for adult to geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients. This night shift role involves working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend off, and no call required. Nurses must be flexible to float as needed and must be prepared to take on Charge RN responsibilities, supported by a requirement of prior Charge RN experience and current BLS certification.The unit features telemetry monitoring and a physical therapy gym on-site, enhancing patient recovery for those undergoing joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties, and various surgical procedures. Moderate patient volumes include inpatient and 24-hour observation medical cases, providing a dynamic and engaging environment for experienced RNs.Travel nurses eligible for this opportunity must have at least 2 years of nursing experience, prior travel nursing experience, and be ready to comply with facility policies including punctuality and attendance standards. Candidates will also need to complete a Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all registered nurses in this health system.
