Our client manufactures and delivers anything from fully assembled electronic circuit boards to complete end products for customers.The Senior Test Development Engineer is in Windber, PA, the company's only US location.Position Overview:The Senior Test Development Engineer provides technical services for customers in the areas of electronics serial production tests development, deployment, and troubleshooting.Responsibilities:Support group manager and perform management duties when neededConsult customers regarding product testability, test related product design practices and productionPrepare test development proposalsDesign, develop and deploy testing equipmentImplement changes and modify existing test equipment according to engineering change ordersChoose and implement technical solutions within delegated project or taskAuthority to release technical project details, timeline, or technical solutions to customerStop product manufacturing if production quality or operator safety is at riskRelease purchase orders to third part suppliers and contractorsQualifications:Bachelors degree in engineeringKnowledgeable and experienced in Electronics Systems DesignExperience in engineering measurements, electrical preferredSoftware design experience in NI LabView and NI TestStand environmentPrinciples of Electronics Serial Manufacturing ProcessExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in team leadingBasic project management knowledgeWhy is This a Great Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading Electronics Manufacturing Services company with 10 locations globally including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, India, China and the only US location in Windber, PA.
