We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and education of young children. Duties:- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment- Provide individualized attention and support to each child- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress- Manage classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies- Assess and monitor each child's progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:- Previous experience in childcare or early intervention is preferred- Strong knowledge of curriculum development for preschool-aged children- Proficiency in math concepts relevant to preschool education- Excellent classroom management skills- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet educational objectives- Passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
- Ability and willingness to maintain a classroom environment, including setup and cleaning responsibilities.
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Education Requirements:
Minimum of 12 units of Early Childhood Education with additional coursework as specified classroom assignments requirements. All educational credentials subject to official transcript review and approval
Responsibilities:
You will be assigned to the infants room (0 months - 18 months) and provide sound care for our infants. You will be responsible for implementing a curriculum for our students while working with our teachers to ensure the students are in the best position to grow from. You will be assisting our students with toileting, feeding, dressing, napping, etc. Infant/Toddler: Takes care of tasks such as diapering, feeding, dressing, preparing room for naptime, setting out snacks and meals, and clean-up.
