Right of Way Projects & Permitting Manager

Audubon is currently seeking a Right of Way Projects & Permitting Manager to join our team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Familiarity with non-environmental resources permitting at the state, county and municple levelFamiliarity with surveys required to successfully complete project permittingCreates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.Effectively applies Audubon methodology and enforces project standards.Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.Manages the project budget.Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency and utilization. Remains completely accessible to client during life of project and provides single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and appropriately.Drives Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures. Participates as a contributing member of assigned Business Unit.Attend industry events and functionsAssist Sr. PM and Business Development Team in revenue growth Ability to work in a seller-doer role • Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential. Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members. Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.Leads and/or acts as a member of internal teams/task forces.EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or PMP certification preferred.Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of industry-related experience, with at least 5+ years in a project management leadership role.ROW Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of legal agreements, public records research, and ROW acquisition processes, and Regulatory Entities.Team Development: Proven ability to organize and develop highly functional teams and instill a sense of project ownership in staff.No Recruiters, please!
