The Opportunity SAMGI is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a collaborative orthopedic trauma program in Mesa, Arizona. This position supports a high-acuity trauma center and offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a well-supported, hospital-based environment. Schedule 183 shifts annually (24-hour shifts) Blocked scheduling with 7 day stretches Built-in recovery time between rotations Job Duties Provide operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients Participate in trauma call coverage at a high-volume trauma center Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries Collaborate with trauma, ICU, and emergency medicine teams Balance operative cases with inpatient care and follow-up clinic responsibilities Program Highlights Work alongside an additional Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Dedicated orthopedic trauma and acute care surgery coverage model Structured schedule designed for sustainability and consistency Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) CME allowance Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Paid onboarding and credentialing support Location(s) Full and per-diem opportunities in both Mesa and Tucson, Arizona.
