Must be authorized to work in the United StatesThe Lead Full Stack Engineer will help lead a cross-functional team to design, implement, and maintain the entire application stack, working in TypeScript from the back-end (serverless Node.js) through the front-end (ReactJS). The ideal candidate has significant experience in creating mature, supportable systems, as well as strong collaboration and leadership skills.Must Have The FollowingTen years of overall web development experienceReact - 3+yearsGraphQL - Professional experienceSQL/MySQL or PostgreSQLUnit TestingCloud experienceThird-Party Integration (API)Backend is flexible: .net is ok if no NodeTypescriptResiliency, error handling, logging, observability, scalability, securityHighly effective communicator and lead of a junior development teamJob ResponsibilitiesBe a primary contributor to the development of a full-stack TypeScript applicationImplement, maintain, and support a back-end using Azure FunctionsImplement a secured data abstraction layer using GraphQL, SQL, and NoSQLAssist with creating the application front-end using ReactJS, building reusable componentsDefine error handling and alerting patterns to maximize the supportability of the applicationCollaborate with the DevSecOps team to continuously improve observability and optimize software deliveryAuthor unit tests, maintaining a high code coverage standardWork with the product team and key business partners to create and refine user storiesTranslate designs and wireframes into clean, scalable, and secure high-quality code, meeting functional requirements and architectural directionDevelop software documentation and maintain architectural decision records for developed source codeConduct peer reviews of code for standard pull request activityAid in support of production systems while driving continuous improvement to increase system resiliency and securityTackle complex technical implementationsProvide guidance and mentorship for team membersBe a key contributor to architectural planning and maintain associated documentationInfluence technical strategy and own implementation and delivery against roadmapHelp establish and champion code and pull request standardsQualifications10+ years of overall web development experience3+ years of ReactJS development - thorough understanding of React and its core principlesStrong proficiency in JavaScript and substantial experience with TypeScriptSolid experience and expertise with Node.jsSignificant experience selecting and employing resiliency patterns as well as error handling and logging strategiesSubstantial experience driving elements of resiliency, observability, and scalabilityProfessional experience with GraphQLSQL experience (queries, schemas, experience with ORMs, etc.)Experience designing event-driven solutions (service bus, event hubs, etc.)Experience implementing and supporting third-party integrationsExperience building and shipping reliable/performant software, including proactively planning and supporting effective alerting and monitoringExperience in Application Performance Management (APM)Understanding of and capability to drive security best practicesExpertise in web application debugging, including security and performanceExperience working with cloud platforms, Azure a plusDemonstrated aptitude at creating practical unit testsStrong Git source control experienceExperience working with DevOps teams, processes, and tools to deliver software frequently and reliablyProficiency and desire to understand the business use cases that drive software featuresHigh School Diploma required.
