A Day in the Life:The Sr. Director Process Engineering is responsible for setting strategic priorities for enterprise process engineering, aligning cross-functional leaders on transformation opportunities, and guiding teams through process redesign, standardization, and implementation. The role balances executive partnership with hands-on problem solving, using data, field insights, and operational expertise to remove bottlenecks, improve customer and employee experiences, and deliver measurable business results.What You'll Do:Build and lead the enterprise Process Engineering Center of Excellence, creating a sustainable capability for identifying, redesigning, standardizing, and continuously improving Hertz's most critical operational processes.Set the enterprise process-engineering strategy and portfolio, directing resources toward the bottlenecks and opportunities with the greatest potential impact on DOE, NPS, employee satisfaction, productivity, and revenue.Oversee the development of future-state process architectures, engineering standards, labor models, capacity strategies, digital workflow requirements, and scalable operating solutions.Partner with executive leaders across Operations, Technology, Customer Experience, Finance, and Human Resources to integrate process engineering into major transformation programs and investment decisions.Build and develop a high-performing team of industrial engineers and process-improvement professionals, establishing a culture of technical rigor, field engagement, rapid experimentation, measurable results, and sustained process control.What We're Looking For :Bachelor's in business or engineering related field required, Degree in Industrial Engineering highly preferred10+ years' experience in process improvement highly preferredBlackbelt in Lean / Six Sigma a huge plusProficiency in Microsoft suiteAbility to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations to influence process improvementProven experience building out a team of process engineers, leadership and mentorshipHighly preferred to be hybrid in ATL but open to remoteWhat You'll Get:Up to 40% off the base rate of any standard Hertz RentalPaid Time OffMedical, Dental & Vision plan optionsRetirement programs, including 401(k) employer matchingPaid Parental Leave & Adoption AssistanceEmployee Assistance Program for employees & familyEducational Reimbursement & DiscountsVoluntary Insurance Programs - Pet, Legal/Identity Theft, Critical IllnessPerks & Discounts –Theme Park Tickets, Gym Discounts & moreThe Hertz Corporation operates the Hertz, Dollar Car Rental, Thrifty Car Rental brands in approximately 9,700 corporate and franchisee locations throughout North America, Europe, The Caribbean, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
