Algorithm Engineer
To support the development of innovative medical devices, the full-time remote Algorithm Engineer will manage the entire biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle, including data curation, algorithm implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities
Lead the biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle, from specifications gathering to production and maintenance
Select and implement appropriate methods for algorithm development, enhancing internal machine learning tools for efficiency
Present algorithm results to stakeholders and support client-facing projects to maximize the impact of algorithms
Required qualifications
Over 4 years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, preferably in health sciences or regulated fields
Proficiency in digital signal processing (DSP) and statistics, with a focus on using the right tools for specific problems
Experience with PyTorch or other deep learning frameworks for model training and deployment
Familiarity with recent advances in deep learning, including Transformer models and large-scale training
Strong understanding of software and ML engineering best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD
