Warehouse Material Handler

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are handled, stored, and transported safely and effectively. This position requires heavy lifting and experience with various warehouse equipment to facilitate the smooth flow of materials throughout the facility. Duties Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers for materials handling. Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to meet production schedules. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers by hand while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain an organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials and ensuring cleanliness. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety regulations. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
