We believe in doing things the right way: with excellence, integrity, and care for the whole student.About The RoleMAI is seeking an entrepreneurial, business-development-oriented Director of Camps and Enrichment to design, scale, and lead a high-quality portfolio of year-round programs. In this dynamic, school-leadership role, you will forge strategic community partnerships to expand MAI's enrollment pipeline. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, systems-driven leader who pairs a growth mindset with an unwavering commitment to student safeguarding and child welfare that aspires to build something meaningful to assist in driving our institutional growth.What You Will DoAs the Director of Camps and Enrichment, you will formulate and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to scale and lead our portfolio of summer camps, winter academies, tournaments, after-school enrichment, and clinic offerings. You will act as a business-development-oriented operator, maximizing the utilization of our pro-level campus facilities to drive vital non-tuition revenue while collaborating directly with our Admissions and Marketing teams to turn auxiliary program participation into a robust enrollment pipeline. Capitalizing on MAI's global footprint, you will design and coordinate high-end national and international travel programs, training experiences, and cultural exchanges in partnership with other Cognita schools and international academies. On the ground, you will recruit, train, and supervise a high-energy team of seasonal staff, ensuring all daily operations, vendor contracts, and international logistics strictly adhere to the highest standards of child welfare, youth supervision, and safeguarding protocols.Who You AreYou are an entrepreneurial, systems-oriented leader that is comfortable moving seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution. You are a youth development professional that knows how to build external partnerships, navigate complex schedules, and lead a diverse, mission-aligned team of seasonal coaches and instructors.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation Management, Sports Management, Youth Development, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth program leadership, camp administration, athletics programming, or experiential education.Expertise: Demonstrated success in building or growing programs that combine strong participation with financial sustainability; Experience managing budgets, scheduling systems, staffing, and operational logistics; Experience working with athletic facilities, camps, tournaments, or community sports programming strongly preferred.Knowledge: Strong understanding of building external partnerships with organizations that enhance training and program resources; Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; Significant experience in residential life within a boarding school, university, or similar residential environment.To view the full Role Profile, please click here .Compensation And BenefitsThe salary for this role is $90,000.
