Electrical Apprentice
Philbricks Generators is seeking an experienced 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team. We specialize in residential standby generator installation, service, and maintenance throughout New Hampshire and Maine. We work with Generac, Kohler, and Briggs & Stratton generator systems.
We are looking for someone with a strong electrical foundation who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing quality work. Previous generator experience is a plus but is not required. We are willing to provide generator-specific training to an experienced electrical apprentice who is eager to learn.
Responsibilities
Assist with residential standby generator installations
Install and wire automatic transfer switches
Perform electrical wiring and connections according to applicable codes
Assist with troubleshooting, service, and repair
Work with Generac, Kohler, and Briggs & Stratton generator systems
Follow electrical codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work efficiently with licensed electricians, technicians, and other team members
Provide professional and respectful service while working at customers’ homes
Qualifications
Must be an experienced 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice
Current electrical apprentice registration as required
Solid understanding of residential electrical systems and electrical codes
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and installation instructions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Dependable and able to arrive to work on time
Ability to work independently when appropriate and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license
Standby generator experience preferred but not required
Experience with Generac, Kohler, and/or Briggs & Stratton is a plus
Compensation
$22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
This is a great opportunity for an experienced apprentice who wants to continue developing their electrical skills while gaining specialized experience in the standby generator industry.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
