CCS Project Manager

Project ManagerConcrete Construction Solutions, a self-perform division of Juneau Construction Company, is expanding our team in Atlanta and seeking a Project Manager to support complex projects in the Southeast. The Project Manager's primary focus is to provide excellent management and administrative skills and support necessary to contribute to the overall success of Concrete Construction Solutions' projects. Position Qualifications: B.S. in Construction Management, or related engineering discipline LEED, AP preferred Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial construction industry Project management experience on projects $20 million+ in contract value Management level communication and leadership skills required Duties and Responsibilities: Key participant in the preconstruction process including budgeting, scheduling, bids, presentations, etc. Key participant and/or manager of purchasing on individual projects. Day-to-day management of construction budget. Direct, train, supervise, and manage all Project Engineering functions (RFI's, Submittals, Document Control, etc.) Examine Contract Documents for completeness, deficiencies, constructability, code compliance, etc. Manage all subcontract and purchase order agreements from award to close-out. Design, manage, and update the project schedule working with other team members. Ensure that the field staff is provided with all of the tools necessary to execute the project in the field (i.e. budget, contracts, qualified subcontractors, timely purchasing, etc.) Represent CCS to our clients during progress meetings. Ensure that a comprehensive report of all cost, schedules, quality and any other construction related issue is provided via Project Status Reports. Manage a timely and comprehensive Billings Process. Manage subcontractor's payment application process and content. Analyze and evaluate IOC's from subcontractors and vendors. Direct, supervise and manage the execution of a timely precise and complete close-out process. Knowledge Requirements: Experience with traditional construction industry software similar to the following: Procore accounting software Excel & Procore based cost projection system Primavera P6 Scheduling software Computerized estimating systems Procore document control Drone Deploy MS Teams Blue Beam editing software BIM 360 Glue (working knowledge) Job Expectations/Physical Demands: Position will work on-site and may require regional travel between applicable Juneau Construction Company locations and jobsites; ability to work outdoors subject to local weather conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand, sit, feel, twist, walk, talk, hear, see, bend, drive, crouch, grasp, squeeze, crawl, kneel, squat, push, pull, apply pressure, reach overhead. Ability to focus for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 60 lbs. regularly if required, steady hands to obtain and meet required quality.
