Class A CDL Driver (2nd Shift)

We are seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers to join our growing Elite team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to better connect with our customers by ensuring timely and accurate shipments. Work Schedule: 2nd Shift- Monday to Friday 4:00pm - 12:30am Job Summary Drives up to and including Class 8 trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations. Correctly applies knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads. Essential Responsibilities: Drives 1 ton or class 7/8 trucks to transport materials to and from specified destinations. loads and unloads truck as required. Inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Maintain daily inspection log. Maintain telephone or radio contact with the plant to receive the delivery or pick-up instructions. Maintains a clean driving record. Works safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Physical Labor Ability to read letters and numbers. Ability to communicate with the driver helper and the customer. Ability to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
