Syteline Business Analyst

Crest IT Resources LLC is a US-based IT consulting and staff augmentation firm (Plano, Texas) helping mid-market and enterprise teams scale quickly with pre-vetted, interview-ready engineers. We are supporting a nearshore client engagement requiring a Business Analyst with deep expertise in Syteline/CSI 10. In this role, we help translate business needs for finance/operations workflows into actionable requirements, and ensure the client’s order and transaction activity in Syteline 10 is correctly defined, documented, and supported. The consultant will align with business hours from 8am–5pm CDT. High-level JDWe are looking for a strong Syteline/CSI 10 Business Analyst to support nearshore delivery while being available from 8:00am to 5:00pm CDT. In this role, we will partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate them against platform capabilities, and help ensure smooth execution of day-to-day transaction workflows.Lead business analysis activities for Syteline/CSI 10 processes, focusing on order creation and related transaction-type activity.Capture, document, and refine business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Work with business users and technical teams to ensure requirements reflect both business intent and system behavior.Support configuration, functional analysis, and troubleshooting by understanding the technical side of Syteline 10.Coordinate communication across stakeholders, ensuring clarity, traceability, and timely updates.Contribute to integration analysis where third-party Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities interact with Syteline 10.We will expect you to bring strong BA fundamentals and excellent communication to drive alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.Required QualificationsWe need a Business Analyst with 7–8 years of experience and a proven ability to operate effectively as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.Core RequirementsStrong BA skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, clear documentation, and structured analysis.System knowledge: working knowledge of the Syteline/CSI 10 environment, including how order management and transaction activity are performed.Hands-on orientation: ability to understand the technical side sufficiently to validate requirements and support practical workflow decisions.Communication: strong written and verbal communication skills to explain requirements, confirm understanding, and coordinate across stakeholders.Availability: ability to support nearshore work and be available 8am–5pm CDT as required for collaboration.Experience PreferencesExperience with third-party WMS (Warehouse Management System) integration is preferred, especially where integration impacts order and fulfillment transaction flows.What We Value In YouOwnership mindset: we expect you to take responsibility for clarity and outcomes in requirements and analysis.Continuous improvement: we prefer candidates who identify gaps early and propose better approaches.Stakeholder empathy: we want someone who listens, asks the right questions, and can translate between business language and system concepts.Desirable (Not Required)Experience supporting 3rd-party WMS integrations with Syteline/CSI 10, including understanding how warehouse events affect orders and transaction processing.Background collaborating with technical teams on functional design, integration considerations, and acceptance validation.Proven ability to create clear functional documentation that developers and business users can both use effectively.
