Setting up products, entering price changes on costs and retails for Merchandise vendorsChecking the scan ability of the products that are being authorizedProcessing files daily for new items discontinuation of non active items and cost changes with category management follow upMaintain/update assigned product category(s) item description and pricing. Resolve store level pricing discrepancies with store managers.Import / posting of electronic vendor invoicesCommunicating new items and price changes via internal notificationsAuthorization and de-authorization of stores to merchandise vendorsResearching and resolving accounting and EDI issues for wholesaler and other vendors as well as posting exceptions after issues are resolved.Updating Price Book notes/instructions as process changes occurMaintaining Price Book vendor/category manager documents in e-filesAdhere to Company and department policies and proceduresPromptly and effectively communicating with both internal and external customersAssisting Price Book Manager in any other Price Book related tasks and projectsRequirementsStrong attention to detail and ability to organize and prioritize detailed information.Strong Communication And Organizational Skills Are RequiredPricing exposure/knowledge considered an assetAccounting knowledge considered an assetComputer/ Software SkillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft programsStrong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access a prerequisite.EducationHigh school diploma / Some college preferredPhysical DemandsAbility to sit for long periods of time.Ability to operate computer keyboard for data entry and the desire to learn new software.Ability to hear and speak for store support service via telephone.Job DutiesCircle K is an Equal Opportunity Employer.The Company complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (the ADA) and all state and local disability laws.
