SAP PP-PI Integration Consultant

Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Production/PP-PI & Integration ConsultantLocation: Pittsburgh, PAZip Code: 15205Duration: 8+ MonthsPay Rate: $50/hr.Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S4/HANA Production Consultant with strong expertise in the PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) module. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience integrating SAP systems with plant MES systems and logistics/warehousing solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and support SAP S4/HANA PP-PI module according to business requirementsDesign and develop integration solutions between SAP and plant MES systems as well as logistics integrationProvide technical expertise during all project phases from design to go-liveDevelop functional specifications and support testing activitiesConduct knowledge transfer sessions and create documentationTroubleshoot and resolve production-related system issuesQualification:Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration/management, or a related field, with at least four years of related experience, OR a master's degree in information technology, business administration/management, with at least two years of related experience.Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP PP-PI implementation experienceStrong understanding of S4/HANA production processes and functionalitiesProficient in troubleshooting and leading the evaluation and design of corrections for complex incidents, maintaining a high level of functional competency in the standard configuration of PP-PI (including control recipe integration), and leveraging best practices and new trends in Covestro's current and future projects.Proven experience integrating SAP with plant MES systems. Expertise in configuring and testing an SAP-MES interface with Control recipes/Characteristic-based process instructions/Process messagesStrong knowledge of SAP integration technologies (RFC, BAPI, API, IDocs, SFTP)Knowledge of logistics and warehousing integration with production modulesExperience with production planning, execution, and control processesExperience communicating technical and business issues/solutions to individuals at all levels, including process owners and stakeholders.Strong active listening skills and the ability to translate needs, concerns, and solutions across functional and stakeholder groups.Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a tight project timeline.Demonstrated creativity balanced with practicality to meet business objectives and team needs.Intercultural experience.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure.Strong understanding of IT architecture/cloud and ERP development.Preferred QualificationsSAP ABAP and/or Java/Web Application development experienceKnowledge of Oracle databases, SQL Server and .NET applications including T-SQL skills (Transact-SQL)Experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) simple logistics, and RF integration.Prior work with integrated production systemsExperience with chemical industry-specific production processesKnowledge of manufacturing best practicesBelcan is an equal opportunity employer.
