This is a technical and collaborative role with the ability to make an impact on pharmacy systems.Job Summary: The Network Engineer is responsible for planning and coordinating the integration of ScriptPro products and services within our customer’s network infrastructure. This integration will be accomplished by working closely with ScriptPro’s Project Management Team and our Customer’s Technical Resources. This individual will serve as a network subject matter expert for these projects. Network testing and verification will be completed before handing the project off to internal ScriptPro teams for installation completion and ongoing support.Reporting Relationship: Supervisor, Network EngineeringShift: Generally, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires a combination of weekly on-campus and remote work; specific days are determined by business need. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.Scope Of The RoleCollaborate with customers on network design for new implementations, upgrades, or migrationsImplement, test and support network and VPN connections for new implementations, upgrades, and migrationsCreate technical documentation for implementation and ongoing support of installed productsSupport internal and customer resources during product implementationWork with ScriptPro design and support teams to evaluate and test new network hardware and firmware, when applicablePerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in a business technology or computer science discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of networking background combined with strong security experienceExpert level of knowledge using industry best practices for installing, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network security technologies, including vulnerability assessments, firewalls, etc.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating SystemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with interface developmentStrong analytical skills with a focus on quality and attention to detailHighly organized and able to complete work within established timelinesEffective problem-solving skills in collaborative team environmentsAbility to quickly adapt to changing procedures and prioritiesWillingness to adjust work hours to support fast-paced turnaround requirementsSkilled in prioritizing and managing multiple projects at various stagesSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyContributes positively to team dynamics and collective goalsPreferred QualificationsExperience with ScriptPro’s product lineExperience working with Information Technology professionals from outside organizationsCisco Certified Network Associate CertifiedCisco Certified Network Professional CertifiedExperience with Cisco Defense Orchestrator and Cloud-delivered Firewall Management CenterRemote Work RequirementsMust have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connectionMust have a distraction free home office workspaceMust be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on) BenefitsAt ScriptPro, we believe that our employees are our greatest asset.
