Unarmed Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the integrity of a prominent site open to the public. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed reports. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism. Experience Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. Knowledge of conflict management techniques is essential. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is a plus. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
