Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a mid level systems engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or sheltersPlan, direct, review, and coordinate the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are metPrepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reportsPrepare functional requirements and specification for hardware acquisitionsAnalyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components that satisfies user's requirementsDevelop hardware installation schedules based upon set-up, integration, and test timelinesConduct site surveys, assessing and documenting current site network configuration and site-unique requirementsRequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university Ten (10) years of systems engineering experience.This position is open for direct hires only.
