Senior Project CoordinatorStudio+ | Where Purpose-Driven Design Meets InnovationAbout the RoleThe Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for leading the technical development, documentation, and coordination of complex architectural projects from design through construction. Design Documentation & CoordinationLead the preparation of architectural construction documents and advanced BIM models that uphold design intent and technical accuracyCoordinate internal teams and external consultants throughout all project phases to ensure cohesive and timely deliveryDevelop and maintain technical documentation including field reports, code analyses, specifications, and meeting recordsConduct site visits and field verification independently, translating findings into design updates and documentationProduce visual materials and renderings to support client presentations and design communicationProvide design and technical solutions informed by strong architectural and construction knowledge2. BIM Leadership & Technical ExecutionDirect BIM model coordination and maintain project-specific modeling standardsContribute to the development and improvement of firm BIM workflows, templates, and quality standardsManage RFIs, submittals, code reviews, and responses to Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ)Identify and resolve modeling or technical issues while implementing long-term process improvements3. Project Support & Team CollaborationLead QA/QC reviews to ensure documentation quality and regulatory compliancePerform and oversee site measurements and documentation tasksRepresent the firm in client and consultant meetings, providing technical insight and design supportMentor junior staff and promote a collaborative, knowledge-sharing studio environmentTake ownership of complex coordination challenges and high-impact technical assignmentsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution preferred6–8 years of professional architectural experienceAdvanced proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination workflowsStrong knowledge of building systems, construction documentation, and code compliance (IBC, ADA, FGI, etc.)Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and consultantsDemonstrated ability to produce high-quality drawings, renderings, and technical documentationStrong organizational, time management, and communication skillsAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlinesActively pursuing architectural licensure strongly preferredValid driver's license may be required depending on project locationsTechnical SkillsProficiency in Revit, BIM tools, and model coordination platformsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Enscape, and Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with Adobe Creative Suite and visualization tools preferredStrong drafting, rendering, and technical illustration capabilitiesWork Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position is primarily performed in an office environment with periodic travel to project sites and client meetings.Typical requirements include:Prolonged sitting and computer useOccasional standing, walking, kneeling, or site navigationAbility to lift up to 20 pounds occasionallyAbility to perform field work in active construction environmentsVisual ability to review drawings, models, and documentationManual dexterity for computer and drafting tool operationReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
