As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and professional customer service. Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access control points, check identification and/or authorization credentials, and document entries, exits, and deliveries per post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting, coordinating with on-site staff, and requesting law enforcement and/or medical support as directed. Complete detailed logs and incident reports, preserve observations and available information, and communicate updates to supervisors and site representatives.Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21+ years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
