You’ll work on high-visibility components where the final finish truly matters.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret work orders, specifications, and drawings to determine finishing requirementsPrepare surfaces and components for finishing, ensuring proper adhesion and quality resultsSet up and adjust spray equipment to achieve proper coating applicationApply paint, stain, and clear coat to components using spray equipmentMove and position parts for coating, including lifting and maneuvering onto work surfacesInspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsTroubleshoot and rework parts that do not meet quality requirementsClean and maintain spray booth and equipment, including changing filters as neededFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaParticipate in training and cross-training effortsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in wet spray/paint application or finishing in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of paint application techniques, equipment, and surface preparationAbility to read and interpret work orders and written proceduresUnderstanding of adhesion and proper substrate preparationWood finishing experience (stains, sealers, and clear coats) preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredAdditional QualificationsHigh attention to detail and quality workmanshipAbility to visually inspect parts for defects and inconsistenciesBasic math, reading, and reasoning skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to multitask and adapt to production needsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not include supervisory responsibilities.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentThis position is located in a manufacturing/production environment and may involve:Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and crouchingStanding for extended periods of timeManual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationLifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionallyUse of spray equipment and toolsExposure to typical manufacturing noise levelsIntermittent exposure to heat or coldWorking in proximity to moving mechanical parts and machineryOvertime as needed based on production demandsBenefits & PerksCibes|Symmetry offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:Generous vacation, personal time, and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company contributionGym membership reimbursementVolunteer time opportunitiesCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesEmployment RequirementsEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical examination, where applicable. xaygatp Equal Employment OpportunityCibes|Symmetry is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees and applicants.
