Summer Intern - Data Analytics

Construction Partners Inc., a publicly traded highway infrastructure company, is seeking a Summer Intern – Data Analytics to join their team in Raleigh, NC. As an intern, you will develop an understanding of how data analytics inform operational and strategic decisions in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the full construction lifecycle, with an emphasis on hot mix asphalt! This Summer Intern position will report to the Data Analyst.Key Responsibilities:Support the development and maintenance of operational reports and dashboardsAnalyze datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvementContribute to the development of an internal operations platformWork with low-code/no-code tools alongside Python and TypeScript to build and enhance functionalityPartner with the Operations Data Analyst on day-to-day development tasks and improvementsParticipate in monthly hot mix asphalt plant calls, capturing key insights and best practicesAssist with day-to-day analytical and operational tasks as neededRequirements:Must be pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university (minimum one year of completed coursework preferred).Knowledge of tools such as Power BI, Python and Typescript preferred.Strong Microsoft Excel skillsAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in-office five days per weekAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.At Construction Partners, we don’t just build roads – we build leaders.
