Work Shift:Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for treating assigned patients including obtaining accurate prescription, reviewing charts adequately and documenting according to departmental policy.Qualifications:A. Education & Training:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.B. Experience:Three (3) internships/affiliations satisfactorily completed.C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:Current PTA licensure by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy. CurrentAHA BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required orthoeducation/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint DestinationCenter of Excellence Policy. Must obtain and maintain required strokeeducation/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Primary StrokeCenter/Acute Stroke Ready Designation Policy.D.
