Human Resources Coordinator

AMVAC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to provide comprehensive on-site HR support at our Axis, Alabama manufacturing facility. This fully on-site role plays a critical part in managing key employee lifecycle processes, ensuring confidentiality, and supporting HR operations in a dynamic, fast-paced industrial environment.AMVAC, an American Vanguard Company is a leading innovator in the agricultural sector, committed to delivering high-quality solutions that enhance crop protection and yield.Key Responsibilities:Employee Lifecycle ManagementCoordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and site-specific employment regulations and documentation requirementsPayroll AdministrationSupport bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP Workforce NowAudit timecards, maintain accurate employee data, and resolve payroll discrepanciesRecruitment SupportPost job openings on various platforms via ADP & LinkedInManage applicant tracking, coordinate interviews, and pre-employment screeningsHRIS & ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS systemGenerate and analyze HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, overtime, etc.) Support internal and external audits; and employee requestsQualifications / Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field) HS Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce NowSkills & Competencies:Highly organized with attention to detailExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Commitment to confidentiality and following required regulationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced settingSolid problem-solving and analytical skillsProject management experience with demonstrated experience meeting deadlinesCollaborative, customer-focused, and tech-savvy mindsetWorking knowledge of employment laws and compliance standards (e.g., EEO, FMLA, I-9, GDPR).AMVAC's Exceptional Benefits include:Health insurance including Medical (PPO), Dental, Vision with low out-of-pocket costsLife Insurance (company paid); Disability insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) / Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options available401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with employer matchingEmployee Stock Purchasing Plan (ESPP) with employee discount (NYSE: AVD)If you are an HR Professional looking for an exciting opportunity where you can contribute to the company's success on a daily basis, we want to hear from you!We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
