Associate Production Manager

Job DescriptionSavage X Fenty is seeking a Associate Production Manager for the global sourcing and manufacturing team. This role will support the day-to-day office activity including (but not limited to) fulfillment of all purchase orders, pre-production schedules, technical specifications - garment construction and fit, calendar creation and working with materials inventory etc, to ensure delivery of goods. In addition, this candidate will analyze cost, margins, timelines and must be deadline driven. The ideal candidate is responsible, takes accountability, detail-oriented, hardworking, and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be able to work well within a team environment, but is a self-motivator who can work independently.This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Production – Savage X Fenty.ResponsibilitiesDrive the success of the Core Greige program by creating and executing the seasonal production calendarOversee all vendor communication regarding productionConfirm placement and manage purchase order entry process to manufacturesWork closely with vendors and Raw Materials manager to meet AUC targetsBuild strong cross functional relationships with internal and external partnersMonitor pre-production schedule and all time and action calendars including delivery datesWork with internal planning partners to manage factory capacityMonitor monthly projections versus actual units placedManage production chargebacks and extension requestsVet and on-board new vendors, set up new vendors/paperwork/factoriesConduct weekly conference calls with the overseas partnersWork closely with the design team to confirm technical specifications including measurement specs, grading and constructions details of garment and work through any issues that may affect production or deliveryAnalyze top od production samples to ensure they meet our quality expectations including specifications, construction, fit intent, feel and customer experienceTroubleshoot any quality issues with your cross-functional team, drive resolution and document learningsWork closely with all vendors and agent offices (local & overseas) to ensure monthly production processes and track delivery status of orders are on scheduleMonitor shipping, import of goods with third party vendors, monitor goods pickup and deliveryMonitor vendor terms, invoicing and paymentsDevelop and manage KPI’s to evaluate performance of all strategic suppliersProvide input to global sourcing strategyRequired Skills5+ years production experience, previous experience with intimate apparel and/ or replenishment programsMust possess strong organizational, planning, cost analysis, and margins knowledgeAbility to manage multiple vendors and experience working with oversea vendorsSolid understanding of a short lead production strategyKnowledge of garment construction, fit, and finishingExcellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentationExcellent critical thinking skills, curiosity and ability to use data to inform decision makingDetail oriented and disciplinedAbility to multitask and work in a face-paced environment under pressureExcellent MS Excel abilityBachelor’s degree in business, Fashion or other related experienceIdeal candidate brings foundational AI literacy, including experience using generative AI tools, and a proactive mindset to experiment with new technologies to drive productivity and innovation. The range provided includes the base salary that Savage X Fenty expects to pay for the role.
