Delivery Driver Class A - Anderson Area

Full-Time. 40 hours per week plus overtime required as needed $26.00-$30.00 DOE The essential duties of the Delivery Driver will be: Make daily inspections of trucks and forklifts Maintains a current and active commercial license Operate standard forklift and truck mounted forklift Keep vehicles clean and orderly Operate all equipment as per safety instructions Pull and load material as required Secure all loads carefully and properly (do not exceed load limits on trucks and forklifts) Review delivery instructions and make sure you understand them before you leave the yard Pull hardware per delivery order Learn computer system and invoice (when necessary) Talk to the customer and make sure their needs have been taken care of Drive carefully and courteously. Remember, our name is on the truck! Report accidents immediately, per our safety policy Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Valid driver’s license/must be insurable required Forklift experience, truck mounted forklift experience preferred Knowledge of lumber and building materials and products preferred Previous driving experience required Above average math skills preferred Ability to effectively communicate required Ability to operate a manual transmission required Physical demands of the job include: Lift 100 lbs.
