Summary: An Echo Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional who uses ultrasound equipment to create images of the heart (echocardiograms). They assist cardiologists in diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions by capturing high-quality images and providing preliminary observations. Responsibilities: Capture accurate images of the heart’s structure and function. Assist with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures. Ensure proper positioning of patients for optimal imaging. Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
