Role Description The Assistant Director of Stewarding is a full-time, on-site role based in Arizona, United States. The role involves overseeing daily operations of the stewarding department, including organizing and supervising cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and facilities. Responsibilities include training and managing staff, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations. The Assistant Director will play a pivotal role in maintaining an efficient and clean kitchen environment. Qualifications Experience in kitchen operations management, inventory control, and team supervisionKnowledge of health and safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and equipment maintenanceStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentProficiency in maintaining budgets and cost control measuresPrevious experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferredA high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food safety or hospitality management are a plus
