Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources & Training to lead and evolve their HR and Learning & Development functions. This role is responsible for shaping and executing people strategies that drive organizational performance, engagement, and growth. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, bringing a collaborative approach and the ability to influence outcomes across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of comprehensive HR and training strategies aligned with organizational goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and leadership development.Partner closely with senior leadership to establish short- and long-term people strategies that enhance performance, culture, and retention.Provide leadership and direction to HR and training teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and ongoing development to ensure high levels of effectiveness and accountability.Oversee the design and delivery of training and development programs, leveraging diverse learning methodologies to support adult learners and improve workforce capability. Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously enhance learning initiatives.Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance with all applicable regulations, and alignment with organizational objectives and budget expectations.Direct full-cycle recruitment efforts, partnering with leadership to define critical roles, build effective staffing strategies, and ensure compliance with all employment laws and best practices.Lead and administer performance management processes, ensuring alignment between individual objectives and broader organizational goals. Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations and performance-related matters.Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to assess current training programs, identify gaps, and implement innovative learning solutions that drive performance.Monitor HR and training metrics, workforce trends, and regulatory updates; provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making.Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to BSA, the Patriot Act, OFAC, and internal policies.Qualifications5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources and Training/Learning & Development.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.SHRM and/or PHR certification preferred.Proven ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and navigate sensitive or confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach, advise, and influence at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and gain buy-in on key initiatives and organizational priorities.Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with sound judgment in complex situations.Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.J-18808-Ljbffr
