Track Panel Assembler - 2nd Shift
Job Summary: The Track/Panel Assembler will be responsible for the final assembly of the tracks and/or panels of our high performance doors.Major Responsibilities/Activities:Use of power and hand tools to mechanically assemble tracks and or panels. This includes sectional, rolling steel, and/or fabric doors.Ensure products are being assembled to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processesWork with the highest level of safety.Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery timesUse of scanners and computers to communicate production order statusProvide feedback for process improvement opportunities that would enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency.Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment.Ability to flex into other work areas as neededMust be willing to work overtime when needed.Minimum Requirements:High attention to detailPrioritization skillsAbility to use hand toolsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Essential Physical Functions:Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.Be able to safely climb stairs or ladder.Be able to work in cold or hot working conditionsMust be able to Bend, Stoop, Squat, KneelEquipment Used:The candidate may be required to use a variety of hand tools such as riveting machines, drills, impact drivers, saws, pneumatic air wrenches, and tape measures.The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
