What You'll Do as the Plant Manager:* Provide overall leadership and accountability for plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and workforce performance
* Establish and sustain a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
* Develop and execute operational strategies to meet production, cost, quality, and efficiency targets
* Oversee daily production and process performance, identifying bottlenecks and driving process optimization initiatives
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and all applicable safety and regulatory requirements
* Partner with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, uptime, and preventive maintenance programs
* Lead, develop, and engage plant personnel through hiring, training, performance management, and workforce development
* Manage plant budgets, track KPIs, and report operational performance to senior leadershipWhat You Need to Bring to the Plant Manager Role:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience)
* 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing or processing operations
* 3-5 years of plant leadership or senior supervisory experience
* Experience in continuous process manufacturing, industrial processing, or material production
* Strong quality background within lab settings
* Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills
* Preferred-Experience in a start up or plant opening situation
* Proven ability to drive process optimization and operational improvement
* Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and regulatory compliance
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills with proficiency in operational systems and Microsoft Office
