Click here to access.Time TypeFull timeRemote TypeJob Family Group:CommercialJob Description SummaryThe Director, National Accounts On-Premise will serve as the primary headquarters contact for an assigned group of national on‑premise accounts and distributor partners. This role will leverage strategic planning and leadership skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth across our portfolio of brands. The Director will partner closely with Trade Marketing, Digital, Beverage Development, and Analytics teams to support customers and suppliers in achieving their sales and marketing objectives.Job DescriptionThis role follows a flexible hybrid schedule, with two days per week in the office and three days working from home. The position must be based in one of our East Market locations, preferably Linthicum, Maryland.Job ResponsibilitiesLead and implement the effort to grow the volume and value share of our portfolio of brands to our network of National On-Premise customers. Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to jointly plan the growth of BBG business in the on-premise channel.Partner with Trade Marketing, Beverage Development team and our digital teams to create innovative and sustainable selling platforms for our customers leveraging the latest beverage trends. Develop pull through programs to insure high levels of sales velocity for BBG brands.Utilizing the latest Breakthru Beverage Compliance platform to insure the highest level of compliance amongst mandatory and optional POD’s and programs for supplier and BBG sold programs.Identify regional and local emerging chains as well as national account franchisee groups to expand core and strategic supplier points of distribution, activations and portfolio strategies.Manages all aspects of servicing assigned accounts including: pricing quotes/confirmation, RFP submissions, business reviews, inventory management, gap analysis, and marketing platforms.Utilize tools that include: assortment analysis, promotion effectiveness, training modules (bartender, wait staff, banquet), consumer insights/trends data, drink development and procurement analysis to enhance strategy, programming and execution with assigned accounts.Engage applicable third party promotional agencies and sell core supplier brands during program development for those national and regional accounts that have retained agency services.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, management, sales, marketing or related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 7 year of experience selling to and managing National Accounts, preferably in alcohol beverage industryAdvanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlinesAnalytic and Reporting skillsUtilize sound judgement and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentUp to 40% travel with some weekend customer eventsLeadership experience with strong 360 communication skillsDemonstrated outstanding relationship building capabilities with senior sales leaders at the supplier, distributor and customer tiersPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephoneCompetenciesPeople management responsibility for pay reviews, performance management, training, and resource planning.Requires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implications, where sufficient information may not be available.This job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
