This role is responsible for maintaining surgical instruments and ensuring proper sterilization, decontamination, and case preparation within a fast-paced clinical environment.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in sterile processing, with a strong understanding of infection control standards and instrument handling.Key ResponsibilitiesSterile Processing & Instrument ManagementPerform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instrumentsEnsure proper handling, inspection, and maintenance of equipmentPrepare and case-pick instruments for surgical proceduresMaintain organization and inventory of instrument traysQuality & ComplianceAdhere to infection control protocols and sterilization standardsMonitor and document sterilization processes for accuracy and complianceEnsure all equipment and procedures meet regulatory and safety requirementsTeam Support & WorkflowServe as a lead resource within the sterile processing functionSupport efficient workflow across shifts and communicate effectively with clinical teamsAssist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrior healthcare or sterile processing experience requiredMust hold at least one of the following certifications:CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association)CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution)Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced settingSolid understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control practicesBenefitsCompetitive hourly pay with shift differential$1,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in first paycheck with 1-year commitment)Opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environmentAbout the OpportunityThis is a confidential opportunity with a healthcare organization dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in patient care and safety.
