Senior Technical Program Manager, Quantum Computing Applied Research

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Quantum Computing Applied Research to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.This role will drive execution across multiple technical programs supporting advanced research initiatives in quantum computing and accelerated computing. You will translate R&D roadmaps into clear execution plans, measurable milestones, and coordinated action across technical teams. The position calls for strong technical judgment to identify risks early, remove blockers, and help emerging technologies progress from research into scalable solutions.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $168,000 – $322,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead multiple concurrent technical programs in quantum computing with a focus on accelerated computing. Define execution plans and measurable outcomes from R&D roadmaps and drive teams toward success. Identify and prioritize critical activities for research success, ensuring completion. Develop technical knowledge of R&D priorities to support collaboration and opportunity identification. Solve and mitigate technical challenges, establishing early risk identification and response plans. Facilitate the transition of emerging technologies from research to scalable solutions.Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in technical program management leading large-scale technology initiatives. Proven understanding of the quantum computing ecosystem and related technologies.
