Role Description Doctors Direct Medical Group is seeking a full-time Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for an on-site role based in Irvine, CA. The candidate will be responsible for providing primary care to geriatric patients, including conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and treating chronic and acute conditions, and developing personalized care plans. Duties also involve collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and families about health management, and promoting wellness and preventive care measures. Qualifications Clinical skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic illnesses, especially in older adults.Expertise in patient education, care planning, and promoting geriatric health and wellness strategies.Proficient in performing physical assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Ability to maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.Master’s degree in Nursing and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specializing in geriatrics or adult care.A valid, state-specific Nurse Practitioner license and DEA certification are required.Experience in geriatric care, home care, or palliative care is preferred.
