Job Title: Recruiter/TA SpecialistLocation: Portland, OR, 97204 Job Type: Hybrid (2-3 days in-office) 30-40 hours per weekContract: 6 months with an Opportunity for extensionSummary:We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter/TA Specialist with a minimum of 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience to join our team. This hybrid role involves working in the office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, a growth mindset, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition.Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition: Source, identify, and secure applicants for internal and external roles.Selection & Staffing: Administer screening and selection tools, recommend interview questions, and ensure staffing processes comply with laws and regulations.Consultation: Provide hiring managers with guidance on staffing solutions (temporary, contingent, regular, etc.) and recruitment processes.Branding: Support initiatives that enhance the organization’s brand in the employment market.Talent Sourcing: Collaborate with hiring managers and vendors to identify suitable recruitment channels and pre-screen candidates.Process Improvement: Recommend process improvements and participate in departmental projects and initiatives.Minimum Qualifications:3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience (not coordinator roles).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Positive and growth-oriented mindset.Preferred Qualifications:Sourcing experience.In-house recruitment experience.Commitment to providing a premium customer experience (timely responses, proactive follow-up, etc.).Education:University degree preferred (2 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree).Certifications:PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred; other HR certifications are a plus (e.g., CEBS, CBP, CCP, AIRS).Top 3 Must-Haves:3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience.Strong communication skills.Positive and growth mindset.Top 3 Nice-to-Haves:Experience with talent sourcing.Previous in-house recruitment experience.Focus on premium customer experience.
