X- Ray Technician Supervisor Alexandria, VA Pay From $39.50 per hour MUST: Experienced X-Ray Technician Supervisor Must be a Registered member of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) requiredLicensed in VAMust have High school graduate or equivalentMust have EMR experience DUTIES: X-ray Technician Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Overseeing X- Ray Techs and scheduling Obtaining quality x-rays using correct position and radiation exposure.Implementing safety procedures for patients, self, and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation.Creating and documenting x-ray CD copies correctlyLabeling images and sleeves correctly when making these copies.Understanding the x-ray and processing equipment so that it will be used correctly.Using and understanding the bell system.Filing and maintaining all x-ray paperwork.Ensuring the safety of patients when using wheelchairs, stools, and other equipment.Understanding and using the following: Daily Log, X-Ray Listing, Copy Listing, and X Ray Status Screen.Understanding and using the automated medical records systemOther duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
