Maintenance Technician IIThe Maintenance Technician II is responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of ATC's business premises. This role will focus on scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance procedures.Primary responsibilities include:Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs, internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies.Recording monthly inspection of documented building equipment and systems.Planning and scheduling repairs.Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry.Maintaining and securing a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.Cleaning and repairing building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains.Essential qualifications include:High school diploma or equivalent qualification.Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred.A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.Good verbal and written communication skills.Organized individual with the ability to prioritize tasks.Effective problem-solving abilities.Basic computer knowledge.Physical demands include:Ability to frequently lift objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds.Ability to frequently carry objects weighing up to and including 25 pounds.Ability to push and/or pull objects weighing up to and including 50 pounds.Ability to withstand exposure to extreme climate variations, exposure to heat and cold.Ability to crawl, bend, kneel, climb and/or squat.Ability to withstand prolonged periods sitting at a desk.Frequent use of upper extremities to perform keyboard functions and work on a computer.Ability to occasionally stand/walk.Equal Opportunity Employer.
