General Surgery Near Lexington, Kentucky! In the metro Lexington area, a general surgeon is needed to replace another physician. This position will also include expectations to provide coverage at a sister hospital located 25 minutes away. There is a very supportive existing primary care referral base in place. The physician will provide general surgery services, including laparoscopic and open procedures, appendectomy, gallbladder, hernia, colon, gastrointestinal, breast biopsy, and scopes. Required hospital call is 10 days per month and includes call for 2 hospitals on the same day, one weekend per month.
