Baker / FLEX Shift Lead

Job Description Shift Leads keep our store running when the store manager isn't around. You will share the same responsibilities as a Crave Crew Member. You will also need to understand store management responsibilities, store opening and closing procedures, and how to make dough if we ever run out later in the day! We are seeking a shift lead with a flexible schedule to work approximately 20-30 hours per week. The majority of our staff are high school students and prefer a mature adult who can operate bakery machinery and lead by example.STORE HOURS:Monday thru Thursday: 10:00am - 10:00pmFriday & Saturday: 10:00am - 11:00pmSunday: 11:00am - 6:00pmJOB SUMMARY:Oversee, direct bakery staff necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all guests by taking orders, making recommendations when appropriate, processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final order preparation including preparing beverages and arranging food items.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:● Promote, work and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Crave. Work with other team members to fulfill orders, proatively monitor rolled dough count, par counts in the warmer and chiller, and anticipate baking time to meet peak level demand while delivering the highest quality product.● Evaluate store at beginning of shift to make appropriate assignments of other employees to meet store needs.● Responsible for maintaining appropriate cleaning schedules of all areas of the store including storage areas● Instruct and train Cookie Experts in the preparation, cooking, frosting and presentation of all food items.● Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to restaurant's recipes and standards.● Ensure that kitchen runs in accordance with all applicable health, safety and hygiene codes and standards.*** Prefer candidates with current ServSafe Food Manager Certification ***Company DescriptionCrave Cookies is a new franchise in the Jacksonville area - we are the first and looking to grow as we establish this location.
